Description

(die pierewaaiers) = (the dandies)

A collection of rare Tamboerskloof wines
inspired by the exceptional grapes that cross our path.

“The charm of these wines lies in the quality of the grapes,
the care of the hands that create them,
and the soul of the places that they come from.”

tied at the top with a thinly cut tyre tube.

buurman = neighbour / guy next door

100% Chenin Blanc.

We’ve been admiring our neighbour’s Chenin vines for years. They finally got the hint, and offered us some grapes…

This pale straw-coloured wine has a lively nose, with wild flower and white pear. A lemon and lime freshness support the fuller notes of pineapple and passion fruit, elegantly finishing off with hints of perfumed chamomile and tangerine.

Wine of Origin: Stellenbosch (Grown 2km from Kleinood Farm)

All wines made on Kleinood are Vegan.

Wine Maker’s Comments:

The (buurman) is a pale straw-coloured wine. Starting with a delicate nose of orange blossom and nectarine it moves to a lively dry entry with notes of passion-fruit, Cape chamomile and a delicate hint of sweetness. A zesty freshness supports the fuller flavours of pineapple and passion fruit to an elegant finish with crisp salinity.
