winemakers comments Scarlett to Crimson in colour. The nose is rich with red berries, black pepper and cloves. A balanced palate confirms the nose with prominent flavours of strawberry, red cherry as well as cocoa and rosewoood nuances from the Mourvèdre component. The wine is rounded off by plush tannin and a lingering spicy aftertaste. For optimal drinking, decant 30 minutes prior to serving.
recommended food pairing An elegant wine perfect with game, lamb and roast beef.
