winemakers comments Our Katharien Tamboerskloof Rose 2018 is a very pale pink, salmon-colored wine. The nose is highly aromatic a with a broad flavor spectrum profile noting lychee, strawberry, raspberry, citrus and violets. Particularly food friendly and versatile, perfectly mimicking our award winning Tamboerskloof Syrah 2014 with its mouth-bursting intensity. Katharien has depth, is well integrated, balanced -even spicy. All the fruit is from premier vines and 100% Syrah. No acidification proves that this wine is rich with balanced mouth-feel. Chill to 13 ̊C and open 30 minutes prior to serving.
recommended food pairing Starters like roasted beet salads, fresh figs or strawberries with mild cheeses or seafood pasta and sushi.
